Guide to the Ryuo island Ferry Boarding and Parking

This guide provides information on the ferry boarding point, parking, and the flow until you reach Ryuo island, including the payment of the ferry fare.

  • 1. On the Day of Use, Please Arrive at the Designated Boarding Point

    Please arrive at the following boarding point. Be at the boarding point at least 5 minutes before the ferry's departure time. If you will be late, make sure to contact us before the departure time.

    For those arriving by car
    If you are coming by car, please park in the red-framed areas in the photos below (roadside or grassy areas). It takes about 1 minute (150m) to walk from the parking lot to the boarding point.

  • 2. Take the Ferry to Ryuo island

    The ferry ride takes about 8 minutes to reach Ryuo island.

  • 4. Pay the Ferry Fare When Disembarking on the Return Trip

    Please pay the ferry fare in cash to the crew when disembarking on the return trip (prepare the exact amount if possible). Note that you might be sharing the ferry with other passengers.

    Number of Passengers Fare (Round trip, incl. tax)
    Adults 1-3 6,000 yen per group (base fare)
    *Children below elementary school age are counted as one adult for every two children.
    *For groups of 4 or more, an additional 2,000 yen per adult and 1,000 yen per child below elementary school age will be charged.
    *For cases where one or more individuals join the group separately, please contact us for the fare details.
    *The ferry's capacity is 11 people. Elementary school children and younger are counted as one adult for every two children (e.g., 9 adults and 4 elementary school children are counted as 11 adults).
