10 historic sake breweries open their doors to the public

Every spring, 10 sake breweries in Higashihiroshima—one of Japan’s premier sake-producing regions—host their annual Kurabiraki events by opening their doors to the public. Each brewery holds an annual open house event to express their gratitude to everyone, serving freshly pressed sake.
It is also a rare annual opportunity to deeply experience sake culture—from touring breweries not normally open to the public, to savoring freshly pressed sake, to hearing stories about sake brewing from master brewers and brewery staff.
