At Aki Kokubunji, visitors can experience traditional activities such as zen meditation, copying sutras, copying Buddhist images, making scented pouches and incense, and performing the goma fire ritual.
In this tranquil setting, you can experience precious moments of purification for both mind and body through practices like zen meditation to calm the spirit, or copying sutras and Buddhist images to cultivate the mind through focused concentration. Visitors can also stay in temple lodgings, which are available to both worshippers and tourists.

    There are no restrictions. However, for Zen meditation. We suggest wearing clothes that you feel comfortable. This will allow you to cross your legs easily. (Skirts are generally not permitted.)
