Okonomi Magokoro Days — Sakagura-dori Street Location

Charming okonomiyaki restaurant in a renovated traditional Japanese house

This cozy okonomiyaki restaurant — in a renovated traditional house — can be found on Saijo Sakagura-dori Street. About a 9-minute walk from JR Saijo Station, it is located diagonally across from Kamoizumi Sake Brewery, making it easy to find for tourists visiting the area.

The same water that is used to brew sake at Fukubijin Sake Brewery — one of the breweries in Saijo — is used to prepare meals. It is used in the okonomiyaki batter and broth, and also served as chilled water to drink. Great care is taken in selecting ingredients, such as using produce from Higashihiroshima.
In addition to Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, Fuchu-yaki and Higashihiroshima-style okonomiyaki (made with lotus root, green onions, and rice produced in Higashihiroshima and domestically sourced chicken breast) are also popular menu items.
Special orders, such as okonomiyaki without meat, can also be accommodated. Please feel free to ask.

Experience the delicious flavor of okonomiyaki prepared with heartfelt care.
