Savor meticulously crafted cuisine in a townhouse from the early Meiji period

Located about a 5-minute drive from JR Shiraichi Station, this restaurant is housed in a renovated townhouse, originally the Ihara Sojuro residence built in the early Meiji period.

Their specialty is “Sojuro Yaki,” an original recipe of grilled chicken.
Set meals are prepared with local ingredients, such as rice balls made with local Kashirazaki rice.
A vegan-friendly set meal featuring vegetable curry is also available.

The interior space preserves the charm of the historic building, reflecting the philosophy of “preserving what can be preserved.” Spacious seating is available, including areas where you can enjoy a relaxing meal while gazing at the Japanese garden within the grounds.
