Chushingura - Local Sake and Vegetable & Meat Skewers

Chushingura - Local Sake and Vegetable & Meat Skewers

Located in the heart of Saijo – one of Japan’s premier sake-producing regions – this restaurant offers carefully selected local sake and dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Choose from a wide lineup of local sake, or German wines that pair perfectly with the cuisine. The meat-wrapped skewer featuring Hiroshima brand pork and farm-fresh vegetables is highly recommended. Choose between steamed or grilled—both are delicious dishes packed with flavor.

Other regional delicacies include Hiroshima’s famous oysters and gansu (deep-fried fish paste), as well as Saijo’s bishu-nabe (a local hotpot-style dish made with sake).

Some menu selections will vary by season and the local sake that is available changes by day. Please check the latest information on Google or Instagram before visiting.

Vegan and vegetarian options are also available without reservation.
